Tudor Court is a small residential dementia care home in Paignton, we require a dedicated and conscientious Senior care assistant to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.

We’re seeking a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys interacting with the elderly and assisting them with their daily living activities. Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing our residents with high quality care and support.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, well-organised and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Proven experience in working with the elderly, in either a paid or voluntary capacity is essential for this role. Minimum of Level 2 health and social care will be required for the role along with a level 3 health and social care qualification or willingness to complete this.

The role will include medication administration, updating and reviewing care plans, daily audits, liaising with health care professionals and directing and leading a team of care assistants.

Shifts patterns are: 07:45 - 20:00 with Paid handover and break times.

Tudor Court requires dedicated and conscientious night care assistants to join our friendly team on a part time basis. We’re seeking caring and compassionate people who enjoy interacting and communicating with the elderly and assisting them with their daily living activities.

Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing our residents with high quality care and support.

Candidates will be required to dispense and administer medications and complete some light housekeeping duties.

Proven experience in working with the elderly, in either a paid or voluntary capacity, is desirable however not essential as full training will be given to those who are looking to start a new and exciting career in social care.

Shifts patterns are 19.45- 08.00.

Flexibility is required for this role and it will involve weekend working on a rotational basis.
